From seed to the supermarket
County Line Packing is a farm to table sweet potato company. By removing all individuals in the middle, we offer buyers the opportunity to really know who is producing and packaging their orders.
Quality Product
Our sweet potatoes are grown in silty loam soils to produce shape, taste, and color quality. Vardaman, Mississippi has long been known as the premiere sweet potato growing region in the country. Other states claim to grow the most, but we focus on growing the best. The Mississippi Hill Country terroir —that’s fancy French speak for all the factors that affect the crop like soil, the topography, and the climate— is ideal for sweet potato production. We further enhance the nutrient rich soils of our region with crop rotation to rebuild soil profile, organic matter, and fertility. We are passionate about quality.
personal attention
County line packing is family owned and operated, built from the ground up, with personal attention and farmer-owner oversight from seed to the grocery store. We strive to produce the best and deliver when and what is needed to satisfy our customers.
Food safety
We take food safety seriously and maintain GAP (Good Agricultural Practices) certification to verify that our sweet potatoes are produced, packed, handled, and stored as safely following recommendations by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
The Best Varieties
We grow Beuregards, O’Henry (white), and a new variety that is performing well called Orleans. We stay up to date on the best varieties for our region, as well as what consumers want. If you are looking for a specific variety, please let us know.
Happy Customers
We are dedicated to our customers and appreciate your business. We can handle an order of any size and treat all orders with the same individual attention they deserve. We take no shortcuts but do whatever it takes to produce and deliver a product worthy of our customers.
We take pride not only in growing sweet potatoes, but growing long-term relationships with buyers who value working directly with a supplier who farms their own crops. Contact us today to set up a time to talk to our sales and delivery team.
